Harry Styles’ Newest Music Video “Late Night Talking” is Fabulous As Per Usual

Harry Styles has just graced us with a music video for “Late Night Talking” off of his recent album, Harry’s House.  It was hard to tell whether or not “Late Night Talking” or “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” would be the next single off the album following the iconic “As It Was,” considering all the radio play for both tunes. While listening to the album, it’s easy to tell that Harry had some fun experimenting with horn instruments and catchy melodies, and “Late Night Talking” is no exception.  The chilled out beat coupled with the horns and funky sounds give it a 70s feel, an era that Harry loves getting inspiration from.

The video starts off with Harry slipping through the sheets and covers of his cozy bed on the hunt for some late night conversation.  He travels between the sheets only to show up in other types of beds with all types of people.  At one point he ends up in a huge bed filled with several people (perhaps he was crashing a post orgy cuddle session).  He ends up in a bed that’s part of an art installation, as well as in the balcony seating of theatre, making sure to catch a glimpse of the show he’s watching through opera glasses.

He even ends up in London, rolling around the city streets on a giant bed surrounded by all kinds of luxurious pillows and in cute little pajamas, of course. It was great to see that mysterious footage that was captured earlier this year used in the video. He eventually ends up in a field in the middle of nowhere, before getting sucked up into the sky during a storm and traveling to new bed related horizons- it’s very Wizard of Oz meets nap time.

Now the question remains- what song is the next single? I think it might be Satellite, especially given the photos taken a few months back of Harry gliding through the air in a yellow feathered outfit.  I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw that bejeweled Big Bird look in a Satellite music video sometime in the future.  And Harry’s extremely good at flying through the air in style, as seen in his music video for Sign of The Times. Until the next single, we can enjoy the Late Night Talking video.  Watch it here: https://youtu.be/4VaqA-5aQTM
